PP Compound

PP Compound is an engineered plastic material made by blending polypropylene (PP) resin with selected fillers, reinforcing agents, and functional additives to enhance the performance and processing characteristics of plastic products. The compounding process allows manufacturers to modify the physical, mechanical, and thermal properties of polypropylene to meet specific industrial requirements.

Specification

  • Products are packed in a 25 kg PE/PP bag or as per customer’s requirements, it should be stored in dry and clean conditions, to avoid moisture, isolation and breakage in transportation.

Key Benefits

Enhanced Mechanical Properties

PP Compound improves strength, stiffness, and impact resistance, making plastic products more durable and reliable in demanding applications. This reduces the risk of breakage when making bags, caps, or thin sheets in injection molding.

Good Sizing Ability

Natural PP shrinks by ~1–2%. Good compounding controls shrinkage through particle or fiber reinforcement. It helps reduce dimensional distortion and increase mold filling ability, especially in injection molding

Improved Thermal and Chemical Resistance

PP Compound offers excellent resistance to heat and chemicals, making it suitable for products used in industrial and automotive environments. Allows the use of PP as a replacement for engineering plastics (PA, PC) at high temperatures.

Excellent UV Resistance

Suitable for specific protection requirements (packaging, agriculture, construction).
